Two Hands Brunch | New York

I haven't done a brunch review in a while so I thought I'd tell you about one of my favorite places for brunch in New York. Two Hands is definitely not New York's best-kept secret, so even people from outside the city know this place all too well. I'm usually quite skeptical about hyped-up spots, but in this case, I didn't have to be. Two Hands delivers quality food every single time, which is why I love it! Of course, it's run by Australians, they do brunch like no other.

I have been to Two Hands three times now, every time someone came to visit! I just know that everyone will like the food, so it's a safe bet. There are two locations, one in Nolita (Two Hands Café - the busy one) and one in Tribeca (Two Hands restaurant and bar - the quieter one). Depending on where you are and how long you want to wait you can make your choice! The one in Tribeca has outdoor seating and is generally more pleasant in my opinion. You can also have dinner and drinks here!

The menu at Two Hands Café is an all-day brunch menu with Aussie classics like corn fritters, banana bread, avo toast etc.

When you sit down a waiter come to take your drinks order right away, which I love. The flat white with almond milk here is one of the best I've had in New York (top 3 for sure).

The hard part of having brunch here is deciding what you want to eat! They make a pretty good poached egg avocado toast...

But I love the granola bowl with berries and a tangy yogurt!

On my next visit, I decided to try the corn fritters, which were absolutely delicious. I tried my friend's açaí bowl and it was also very tasty.

For dessert, we shared the banana bread with espresso mascarpone and buckwheat. Oh my, this is really really good. Quite rich because of the mascarpone so it's good for sharing.

I think Two Hands is also good if you just want to grab a coffee (and banana bread) in the afternoon when it's less busy.

The Restaurant & Bar in Tribeca is a bit different because it's more spacious and it has different menus throughout the day, so there's more choice and variety.

My sister had the smashed peas with toast, ricotta, salsa verde, and prosciutto. Really good but a bit too many peas so she shared them with us.

I went for the granola bowl again! Although the mushroom toast sounded really good, I should try it next time.

My brother had the pickled chili scrambled eggs with extra bacon. A very big breakfast, perfect for hungry guys.

... and coffee, because there's no better way to start the day.

I'm a big fan of Two Hands. The service is always impeccable and everyone who works here is super friendly. The food is very good and you get a lot of good quality food for reasonable prices. I love this place, and I totally get why everyone loves it too!
