The 15 best read posts of 2015

Because it's the last day of 2015, I'm doing a little round-up of this year's best read posts. In case you're new to my blog, here are the best read posts of whiskers & lions in 2015. I very much look forward to creating more good content for you in 2016. Enjoy reading!

1. Amsterdam Hotspot Guide read here
My number one most viewed post, and also one where I put in most work, along with the Munich guide. These guides are so much work but so fun to make! I love living in new cities and love sharing the spots I discover there!

2. Sport Bargains | read here

I love a good bargain, and so do you it seems! I'm pretty sure there must have been an effective keyword why this post got so many clicks, or people are simply searching for sporty bargains ;)

3. Munich Hotspot Guide
| read here
I made this guide after living 6 months in Munich for the first half of 2015. It's probably my most extensive guide yet! Munich is a food paradise, and I discovered some of my favourite places ever in this city.

4. Kikki.K Stationery London | read here
I have to thank Annemerel for getting this post into 2015's best read list! Kikki.k is the newest players in London's stationery-scene (is that even a thing) and it's pretty much a stationery-lovers dream. I wanted to give this new company a little love with this post, but I'm sure they'll be booming!

5. What happened in Paris
| read here
A post I'd never thought I'd write.. The events in Paris made a big impact on me so I wrote this post on my way back from Paris. It was so scary to experience it all up close, but at the same time incredible to see the world's immediate reaction and empathy.

6. Currently craving: sneakers | read here
My love for sneakers only grew more in 2015! It's safe to say that 2015 was the year of the Stan Smiths, so I'm really curious which sneaker will be the IT thing in 2016. I'm thinking Nike Internationalist or Superga!

7. A great morning in 11 steps | read here
Quite funny that I wrote this post because I'm not a morning person AT ALL. But these tips make my mornings slightly more bearable, so I hope it does the same for you!

8. The Mae Deli | read here
The thing with writing about places that have literally just opened, is that you automatically receive a lot more views than you would if you'd write about an already popular place. I was lucky to be in London when Ella and Matthew just opened their little vegan deli, and I look forward to how their place will do in 2016 (I predict a hype!)

9. 10 Instagram Favourites | read here
I got Instagram in 2011 and it's been my favourite app ever since. I always have new favourite accounts so I'll make sure to share those more often!

10. Coco choco banana quinoa porridge
| read here
I discovered this breakfast at Cafe federal in Madrid and loved it so much I recreated it at home! I'll definitely be making this more often in 2016, it tastes indulgent and it's super nutritious at the same time.

11. Cochinchina Munich
| read here
The second review in this list, and one of my favourites of 2015. If you're ever in Munich, go to this place for super tasty Asian food (mostly Vietnamese). Literally everything on the menu tastes good so you can't go wrong.

12. What's in my gym bag
| read here
While I lived in Munich, i was in such a good gym flow. I signed up at Elements gym in January and went 4 to 6 times a week. I don't think I'll ever find a gym which I like as much! (i miss it every day!) Anyway, in this post I tell you about all the essentials you should bring with you to the gym.

13. The Ultimate Christmas gift guide '15 | read here
Like last year, I made a big ol' gift guide for the holidays this year. I loved making it so it makes me extra happy that it got a lot of views! Ps. Most of these items are now on sale so it's worth having a second look;)

14. January in pictures
| read here
I documented my first month in Munich in my monthly diary. It was my first month as an intern at Stylight (I was in the content & PR team) While I couldn't see myself living in Munich, I did love my time here! (Stylight always has vacancies if you're interested)

15. February in pictures | read here
Funnily enough there's a second monthly diary in this list. While I don't think it's interesting for you to read daily or weekly diaries (those would only contain food pics pretty much), these monthly ones are always popular. Let me know if you'd like to see these kind of diaries more often!

Thank you so much for reading my blog! On to the next year!
