I made up this recipe on the spot. I was about to go to the gym, but I was feeling a bit hungry. Hungry + working out is never a good idea, so I decided to make a smoothie to give me energy but also some protein. I drank half of this before my workout and the rest after, and it was exactly what I needed! It's super easy to make and doesn't require any special superfoods, all things you can find in your supermarket! (sometimes less is more) This smoothie is quite rich so it's also perfect for breakfast. 

what you need:
- 2 big spoonfuls of low-fat quark 
- 1 banana
- 1 big handfuls of fresh spinach
- about 6 frozen strawberries
- 1 avocado 
- some water or coconut water

how to make it:
I don't think I need to explain, just throw everything into the blender and blend till smooth. Add water until the smoothie has the consistency you like! Top with coconut flakes and berries, whatever you like. 

The banana and strawberries make it quite sweet, while the quark and avocado make it really creamy. If you're looking for a low calorie smoothie, this isn't it. But it has healthy fats, fibers and protein so it's perfect for active days. It's so delicious, try it!
