It's a new month, which means it's time for a little review of January. I started the new year in Berlin, spent about a week at home in Belgium and then moved to Munich. A lot of new impressions, people and routines! This was my January:
My friend showed me the cutest store that just openend on Hohzenhollernstraße. It's called Mohrmann Basics and I want to buy everything! (ps. they have an online shop) // tried on some shoes at Adidas. I've been looking for white sneakers for spring, I think I might get the Adidas Stan Smith with navy details
Sale shopping in Antwerp, this cosy knit came home with me // more sale shopping. One of my favourite lingerie brands is Princesse Tam Tam, they have the cutest and most delicate underwear
Fun quote I spotted in Berlin. I drink both tea and coffee though ;) // my mom made me the best coffee, with a heart!! A secret attempt to keep me home maybe? I'd love heart coffees every day:)
Nature's beauty is everywhere, also in the kitchen; red cabbage and romanesco broccoli
The BEST palm print wallpaper is still House of Hackney's // more palm leaves at & Other Stories
A late night work at night = pizza :) // last Saturday was such a beautiful day, everyone was out enjoying the sun at Odeonsplatz with a huge hot chocolate and blankets, so cosy
Orange, ginger and carrot juice after a morning swim // Sunday brunch at Laden with great cappuccinos
Found these amazing raspberries in the middle of winter! Sadly I haven't seen them again the past week.. my favourite fruit no doubt // washi tape in every colour at Weißglut, every stationery lover's dream
Cool set-up at Weißglut // work lunch with my friend at Dean & David. I had food envy when I saw her salad..
My colleague told me my shoes match my post-its, haha! // healthy juices from Tagescafé
Kochhaus is really similar to Bilder & De Clercq in Amsterdam, same concept but a little different. It's so smart, I love it! // cheap and very tasty pizza at Lo Studente
Tropical lamps at Haus Der Kunst // very good schnitzel, I've had a few of these already
We visited the Egyptian museum in Munich. The building and set-up is so cool, it reminded me a bit of the Egyptian museum in Berlin
Got this candle at the Skins sample sale in Amsterdam and decided to light it in my new Munich home, it smells divine! // cycling is less fun and quick when there's snow :(
Still loving the rice cracker-banana-peanut butter-cinnamon-cacao nib combo // in love with my new tights from Nike
Pastel heaven at Theresa, Mytheresa.com's "mommy". Amazing store // beautiful Hofgarten
The best bread I've ever eaten is this walnut loaf from Manufactum. Crunchy on the outside, many walnuts and soft on the inside. Totally worth queueing for Saturday afternoon! // cute pouch at Mohrmann. Nice Valentine's gift maybe?
Love this snack: dried mango and coconut from Lidl // I wish I never started drinking coffee ;) it makes me happier than I'd like to admit
Yes, in Germany they have "easy" parking spaces for women. A bit weird but also good I guess.. // it's still the strangest thing for me to see people carrying around skis in the middle of a city
Banana pancakes, need to make this more often // cute lamp-heart at the office
More pretty things at Mohrmann, they even have Rifle Paper Co. stationery // forgot to bring proper socks to the gym and my cat socks were peeping out of my leggings haha, great combo
Accidental "latte art". I actually want to learn how to do it so bad! // a HUGE bowl of oats. Didn't estimate the measurements too well this time ;)
Relaxed Sunday morning testing my new moka coffee maker, reading Dutch ELLE and eating some blood oranges // ELLE seemed to like my Sunday set-up too because they re-posted it:)
So that were a few snippets of the past month. A good start to the year, I can't wait to see what February has in store!
