Shiso Burger | Berlin

Shiso Burger is a little Japanese-style burger place in Berlin. Two friends recommended it, so of course I got curious and tried it out. I love Japanese food and I love burgers, so nothing could go wrong!

The menu is small and uncomplicated, with a list of burgers or burger-style dishes, some sides and drinks. It's a mix between classic burgers and Japanese inspired burgers. The prices are average for this type of burger place.

Edamame to start of course. One of the few addictive foods which are actually pretty healthy too ;)

I ordered the Bulgogi burger, which contains grilled marinated beef with some Korean flavours. Very tasty, well-marinated and different than anything else I've tried. I think this is the best burger on the menu. Quite a small bun so if you're really hungry you might want to order two, but for me it was perfect.

The salmon burger also looked pretty tasty...

On the side we had Kimchi (spicy fermented cabbage)

 Classic skin-on fries

How bad do you want to try one?

and last but not least, AMAZING sweet potato fries. Essentially the dream of every sweet-potato-lover

Overall a very tasty little burger place. Don't expect too much, but it's a nice and casual place to go to with friends. If you're in the area, try it out. If you're not, you're not missing out on something incredible. It's just simple good food :) find info here
