Spain picture diary

In between leaving London and going to Amsterdam, I managed to squeeze in a mini-break to sunny Spain. Just 5 days of tanning, eating and relaxing with my brother and sister was enough to charge my batteries and get a bit of a tan. I packed some bikinis, shorts and sunscreen and off we went. Ultimate relaxation mode!

Beach, please! I literally couldn't wait to be on the beach, even though we had to wake up super early to catch the flight and then take a train from Barcelona to our final destination // our view: a long stretched out beach, I don't need anything else. The weather was perfect as well!

I don't like ice cream that much, so instead I got a granisado on the beach, it's like a lemon slushie // I love these bright pink flowers, so typical for Spain. I spotted them on my run.

Early morning at the beach! We put down our chairs so we could have a good spot at the water hahah, cheaters! I wish I could wake up at the sea every day

Drinking a lemon beer after the beach and reading Elle // my sister and I went shopping one evening and I got this cute lemon bikini at Oysho

We all packed super light because we only took hand luggage, so I had one beach outfit: a lace crop top, flipflops and these high waisted jeans shorts from Forever 21. The shorts are super similar to the vintage Levi's shorts but I could never find my size so this is the next best thing. And for €13 you can't really go wrong!

Essentials on the beach: Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen, a small Magnum ice cream, Ray Ban sunglasses and an Adidas By Stella McCartney bikini top (topless tanning = no tanning lines for once) // cooling off with some watermelon, the best beach snack

Thres granisados por favor! // at our favourite tapas spot we always have steamed mussels with salsa romesco, a delicious garlic-y sauce

The road to heaven aka the beach // fruit in the morning: peach, pineapple and watermelon

Pimientos de Padron is one of my favourite tapas. They are small roasted green peppers with sea salt on top. Simple and so good. // our view at dinner

I went out running a few times, and my brother tagged along twice. It was too hot to run longer distances so we only did 4 km each time. Can't complain with this kind of view though

It was short but sweet. I love going to Spain because the temperature is always perfect and it's always super relaxing. Hope you enjoyed this little peek into my holiday :) Now I'm ready to work all summer!
