Regent Tweet 2014

Last Saturday I was invited by the lovely Sister PR team for a really cool event which took place on Regent's street. In my opinion, Regent's Street is one of the prettiest shopping streets in the world. The buildings are old and all have the same style and the shops are beautiful (Burberry's flagship is my favourite). Sister PR organised a day filled with workshops, drinks, snacks and goody bags for 200-something bloggers who came from all over the world for this special event.

At 10 am we all met up at Brasserie Zédel to receive the information for the day and our Regent Tweet bags. I talked to some Belgian bloggers who took the Eurostar to London earlier that morning.

After that it was time for a group picture on Regent's Street before heading to the Apple store where we listened to the first talks of the day by Adam Gallagher from I AM GALLA and Damien Whitmore who looks after the fashion exhibitions at the V&A.

After that we were released into the shopping jungle, armed with packets of cards which entitled us to a treat at every store. I first headed to Psycle since it was the furthest off Regent's Street, but I've wanted to try out these spinning classes since I first saw the awesome windows of the studio...

I still need to pick a time and date for my Psycle class but I will let you know how it went!

I love beauty so I was delighted to get a bright blue mani at The Organic Pharmacy and some goodies from Kiko.

One of the best treats of the day were these pretty flower bunches at Banana Republic along with a £50 gift card. I used to have a black trench from Banana Republic which was my favourite coat for years so I can't wait to have a better look around.

GQ Fashion Editor Nick Carvell talked about Tumi's suitcases and his best tips for efficient packing, a skill I haven't yet mastered ;)

Next I popped over to Liberty where I received some explanation about REN products and samples to try out. I've been so curious to try some of these products, as I've only stuck to the same skincare the past year and a half and I'm ready to try something new now.

I couldn't help stopping at the Wild at Heart flower stand at Liberty (..and dreaming about being a florist in London haha. I love flowers and I mean.. £15 for a tiny wild flower bouquet? I could probably make a fortune!) I think Liberty and Selfridges always have the best flowers.

Karen Millen gave out awesome little make-up bags that look like lemons, I'm sure it will feature on my blog soon :) I love the 'Atelier' where you can design your own leather jacket.

At Reiss I ran into fellow bloggers Freya and Andrea for a lovely chat about blogging with Alex, head of marketing at Reiss. We also had a chance to look around the personal shopping suite while enjoying the most delicious chocolates from Hotel Chocolat (I'm skeptical about all chocolate which isn't Belgian or Swiss but this was seriously amazing chocolate!)

Though I had too many chocolate (had to try them all of course) the next stop was Brasserie Zédel for lunch. The restaurant is huge and the menu is mostly based on French brasserie food.

Guess had set up a whole beach including bar serving up fresh Vita Coco mocktails. At Guess we received a massive goodie bag including a beach dress, sunglasses and a beach towel, all set up to go to a sunny destination :)

I loved the idea of Crabtree & Evelyn of creating a tree where everyone added their best beauty advice. Mine was to give your hair and scalp a treatment with pure coconut oil once in a while, it's the best remedy for dry scalps.

One of the last stops of the day was Brooks Brothers, where Sasha from Liberty London Girl talked about the iconic white shirt. Afterwards we even received a white classic Brooks Brothers shirt, so incredibly nice! I can't wait to wear it, and I'm particularly pleased that it's a no-crease shirt which doesn't need ironing.

We were pretty exhausted at this point as our bags were multiplying and getting heavier, but we shouldn't complain!

I also quickly checked out the new Karl Lagerfeld store.

I was late but joined in for the last talks at the Apple store.

To wrap up this hectic and fun day, all bloggers were invited for drinks and Italian snacks at the cicchetti bar downstairs at Piccolino at Heddon Street. This restaurant was recently renovated and it was such a good discovery. I loved the bar and it was so cosy to chat to new people there.

Louise's super stylish outfit, how pretty are those electric blue Valentino's?

My fellow blogger colleagues and I, such lovely girls! (check out their blogs here and here)

I would like to thank the amazing team at Sister PR for perfectly organising the event and the 50 participating shops and restaurants who were so incredibly generous! Everything was thought of and we were super spoiled. I was already impressed by Regent's Street but now I even appreciate this beautiful shopping street even more. It was also lovely to meet new people and bloggers, thank you everyone!
