Sensationail: gel nails at home

So I might be a little late jumping on the gel-nails-at-home bandwagon, but for those of you who aren't yet convinced, here's yet another post dedicated to the love for DIY gel nails. I won't dwell on it too much as there are tons of reviews of Sensationail online. The Sensationail Starters Kit includes a LED lamp and some nail products to make gel nails which last for 2 weeks. I've been using this non-stop since late August and it's really the ultimate solution for someone with very weak/brittle nails like me.

You can get your own gel nails in 7 easy steps.

1. Clean your (already clean and 'naked') nails with the gel cleanser
2. push your cuticles back and file + buff your nails
3. apply the gel primer

4. apply one coat of gel base coat and put your nails under the lamp for 30 seconds
5. apply a layer of colour (the babydoll pink rose nuisette) and dry for 1 min. under the lamp
6. end with a layer of gel top coat and 1 more min. under the lamp
7. wipe off the sticky layer of your nails with a little cloth (included)

Now you've got gel nails which last for about 2 weeks. You can also apply any regular nail polish over it (or instead of the gel colour, which I do on my toenails. Make sure you let the polish dry completely).

Normally, my nail polish would chip within 2 days because of my weak nails, but not they stay perfect for 2 weeks, and on my toenails even 1 whole month!

I bought this starter set at Boots for 70 pounds (lasts for more than 10 times) and I can recommend it to anyone who wants their nails to look perfectly polished for a long time, but doesn't want to spend a lot of money at salons. It's the perfect solution!
