Royal China Baker Street | London

I completely forgot about this review; it's been sitting in my 'drafts' for quite some time, poor thing. I said goodbye to London a few months ago; I'm really starting to miss it and I can't wait to go back. Ever since I first came to this city, I've always had an ever-growing to-do list ( or rather to-go list). Royal China was one of those places that was on my list for ages, so a few days before I left for the summer, I finally went there.
The branch we went to, located on Baker Street, was spacious and filled with Chinese families. That's probably the best seal of approval you can get. I'm actually not a huge fan of Chinese food, as it can be a little too greasy for my liking, but I wanted to give it another try.

I had only heard great things about the crispy Peking duck, so of course that's what we went for. The duck came with very thin 'pancakes', a dark sauce and some vegetables. This allowed us to 'assemble' our own meal, which I kind of like. As a side, we (3 girls) also shared some Singapore noodles.

The duck was really delicious, very crispy and tasty. I would definitely order this again next time!

The noodles were good, but a little too greasy for my liking.

Mm, that duck! I haven't tried many things from the menu, so I would definitely recommend the duck, it's just mouthwateringly good.

The service wasn't all that great, it seemed like they were  bit understaffed. Despite the bad reviews I read, I can't say I had a bad experience at Royal China. I think the prices were more than decent, and the food was great. I'll definitely be coming back here! I believe there are 6 branches, so plenty to choose from. Oh and check out the menu before you, it will take you ages to decide what to eat ;)
