Food diary I

A few pictures from all the yummy food I've been eating/drinking the last couple of weeks.. enjoy my food diary!

Joe & the juice, the best juices in town! There are two branches around Oxford Circus and they both have wifi so they are good places to study if you like being in a noisy environment; the atmosphere is really good. But it's  still quite expensive for what you get, so I don't go there very often. 



My favorite meal of the week. I've recently discovered this amazing combination! Halloumi cheese, falafel from Marks&Spencer's (really good, not too dry!), some carrots to dip in the hummus, zucchini, cherry tomato and red pepper salad with a olive oil-soy sauce-balsamic vinegar dressing and sesame and Nigella seeds on top, and lastly, some hummus with olive oil and sesame & nigella seeds. I love this meal, it's so good! And I'm so happy with the Nigella seeds I found in Whole foods, they make everything taste better.


My favorite breakfast: yogurt, milk, banana, frozen raspberry and strawberry smoothie. I might try adding some oatmeal next time.  


My first real hamburger at McDonald's. Ever. I had only had the chicken burger before. We suddenly craved for McDonald's after a long study session. It's so unhealthy though, so I tend not to go there.


I had my 'Lebanese' meal a few times the past two weeks. This time, I added some lettuce to the tomato and pepper salad.  


Another favorite snack/breakfast: yogurt with strawberries and banana. 


I could spend hours and hours at Whole Foods. What a beautifully organized grocery store. 


Some sushi from Wasabi. I like how you can pick up little packs of two sushi pieces so you can choose all your favorites and combine them in one meal. My favorite is the California roll.  


 Cucumber, cherry tomato and basil salad with sesame seeds sprinkled on top.


Feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, cucumber and orange pepper salad with some toast to turn it into a bruschetta.
